The weather was COLD on Thanksgiving day in Buffalo, but the forecast showed a warming trend with a chance of GOLD!

After dropping their fist game on Friday to the Parma Flyers, The Bantam B team regrouped winning their next two games against the WHA Eagles and Tri-County Youth Hockey. In their final game of round robin play the Bantam B team tied the Jamestown Lakers. The tie proved to be enough points to secure our boys a shot at the gold medal.

The championship game late on Sunday would be a rematch against the Lakers. Both teams battled hard and the game was tied after regulation play. To settle this bout would take a 5 minute 4 on 4 sudden death overtime. #26 Emmitt Johnstone came to win and broke the tie with a beauty of a goal!
