I'm sure many of you have heard the news from the Governors office allowing indoor sports to resume in the state of New Jersey. According to the press release we are cleared to begin playing immediately. With that said the NJYHL will allow games to begin this Friday, October 16th.
With the approval there are rules and stipulations that we must follow. Specifically only individuals who are necessary to conduct our games will be permitted in the rinks. In other words parents and spectators are still not allowed in the arena.
Our Master scheduler and team managers will begin confirming this weekends games and will provide further instructions regarding locker room access, drop off & pick up of players and any additional safe guards in place at our away venues.
We are all excited to get back to hockey, however we need to keep in mind that Covid-19 is still a serious threat and the Governor can easily reverse his return to play order. Please continue to follow all the protocols the arena has in place including health monitoring, temperature checks, wearing face masks and social distancing .
